Mrs. Lorraine M. (Cormier) Henrickson, 90 years of Swampscott, died Sunday , October 30, 2011 in a local nursing home after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Edward O. Henrickson. She was born in Shediac, New Brunswick, the daughter of the late Edmond and Edmee (Landry) Cormier. She was raised in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School. She moved to Swampscott in 1948.
Mrs. Henrickson worked for the former J.B. Blood Company in Lynn and last worked in 1943; she would enjoy telling people she was retired since 1943. She traveled throughout the country with her husband who was a jet pioneer for General Electric. She was a volunteer at Christ Child Nursery and North Shore Children's Hospital. Mrs. Henrickson was a devoted New England sports fan, loved to bowl, and enjoyed crossword puzzles. She was a Brownie Scout leader for many years. Mrs. Henrickson was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church for 63 years. She was a member of St. John's Ladies Sodality and a past president of St. John's School PTA. Mrs. Henrickson was the secretary of the Lafayette Nursing Home resident's council.
Mrs. Henrickson is survived by her daughter Susan B. Frary and her husband Kevin S. of Marblehead, her grandchildren K. Scott Frary and his wife Cheryl of Swampscott, Amy Lucia and her husband Jeffrey of North Reading. She was "Gram the Great" to Jolie and Ryan Frary, Abigayle, Matilda and Jeffrey Lucia. She is the sister of Tilmon Cormier of West Peabody, Phyllis Johnson of Marblehead, Delina Wendell of Salem and the late Val Cormier. She is the sister in law of Carl Ernest Henrickson and his wife Esther of Lexington, KY. She also leaves several nieces, nephews, and many friends, including the devoted staff at the Lafayette Nursing Home.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 10:00 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 147 Humphrey Street, Swampscott . Burial in Swampscott Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are at St. John's Church from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, prior to the funeral mass. Arrangements are by the SOLIMINE, LANDERGAN AND RICHARDSON FUNERAL HOME, Lynn. At Mrs. Henrickson's request, donations may be made in memory of her husband, who had Parkinson 's disease, to the American Parkinson's Disease Association, Massachusetts Chapter, 72 East Concord Street, Boston, MA 02118

CANTON - Services for Louise Coil, 80, Canton, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.

Mrs. Coil died Jan. 23, 2010. She was born April 14, 1929, and lived in Canton since 1959. She was a nurse at Dr. Dan Hilliard's office for 20 years.

Survivors include her husband, Gilmer Eugene Coil; daughter, Peggy Wyatt; sons, Greg Coil and Robert Coil; sister, Ann Baker; brother, Vernon Boyd; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

MARION, Ill. - Lucille Glass, 94, formerly of East Prairie, Mo., died at 7 p.m. March 6, 2005 at the Fountain Nursing Center in Marion.

Born June 24, 1910, in Bertrand to the late John Samuel and Mary B. Liggett Mason, she was employed by Prairie Manufacturing Co. for 22 years and also worked for the East Prairie R-2 schools. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in East Prairie and served with the Retired Senior Volunteer Program in East Prairie for 23 years.

On Oct. 3, 1929, in Cario she married Leonard David ?Bill? Glass who preceded her in death on Jan. 12, 1980.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Leonard David and Dixie Glass of Edwardsville; one daughter and son-in-law, Bettie and Gene Futch of Goreville; one daughter-in-law, Barbara Glass of Cape Girardeau; one sister, Margaret Hinton of Pomona, Calif.; two brothers, Lee Mason of Vancouver, Wash., and Robert Mason of St. Peters, Mo.; and seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, John Glass, and eight brothers and sisters.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday with George White officiating.

Burial will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetary.

Pallbearers willl be: Michael Glass, Bob Kohlmiller, David Futch, Ken Futch, Charles Futch, and John Oertell.

1596 Luther Franklin Glass Dies at Home of Son

Funeral rites for Luther Franklin Glass, 74, will be conducted at 3 p.m. tomorrow at the Nazarene Church in Charleston, Mo., by the Rev. Carl Castleman, pastor of the Gosnell Baptist Church.
Mr. Glass, a farmer, died at the home of a son, Sam Glass at the Yarbro Community, last night, after an Illness of about six months.
He was born In Covington, Tenn., and had lived there and at Charleston. Mo., most of his life. He had made his home with his son at Yarbro for about 18 months. His wife died at Charleston about eight years ago.
The survivors include 10 children; five sons. Sam and Landis Glass of Blytheville, Leslie Glass of Hartford, Mich., Leonard Glass of East Prairie, Mo., and Woodrow Glass of Charleston; five daughters. Mrs. Lora Armstrong. Mrs. Roy Bone, Mrs. Everett Bone, and Mrs. Isaac Bone, all of Charleston, and Mrs. Joe Morgan of Blytheville. Also surviving is a brother. E. S. Glass of Burlison, Tenn., 41 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
The burial will be at the Oak Grove Cemetery at Charleston, and six grandsons; Leo and David Glass, Roy Marshall, James Armstrong and Mitton Morgan will be the pallbearers. The Cobb Funeral Home is to be in charge of arrangements.

1599 Mabel Ann Elizabeth Shaw was born on 19 November 1883 to Lovick Pierce “L.P.” Shaw and Elizabeth A. Dickens, they were the owners of the Shaw Hotel in Lampasas. She married Edward Easter Clark Sr., on 30 July 1905 in Lampasas.

They had 5 children 4 girls and one boy. Elizabeth Elaine Clark, Edward Easters Clark Jr., Mary D. Clark, Syble Virginia Clark, and Mona Francis Clark.

She passed away on 03 April 1959 in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas, USA.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter Mary D Clark, and three of her siblings William D. Shaw, Little Sam Shaw, and Seymoura E. (George) Thielepape.

She is survived by her husband, and her brother Lovick Pierce Shaw Jr., and children Elizabeth Elaine (William) Bradford, Edward Easters (Mary) Clark, Syble Virginia (John) White, and Mona Frances (Lawrence) Thomas. She had 9 grandchildren, William, Elizabeth, Jack, James and Susan Bradford, Edward, Mary Ann and William “Dan” Clark, and Cynthia White.

Betty Charlene Jones Carrington, 58, of Ridgeland passed away July 15, 2009, at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson. Funeral services were held July 18, 2009, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Madison with interment following in Natchez Trace Memorial Park and Cemetery in Madison.

Charlene was a certified activity director in local area nursing homes for 25 years. She was also a member of the Mississippi and National Activity Association. She will be remembered as a generous, compassionate, selfless, benevolent gift from God to all that knew her. She will truly be missed by everyone who had the honor of meeting and knowing her in their lives.

Charlene was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson L. "Gus" Carrington; parents, Charles W. Jones and Laverne Booth Jones White; grandparents, Steve and Essie Booth and Minnie and Evie Jones.

Survivors include her son, Micah N. Carrington and wife Madesta "Dusti" of Ridgeland; sisters Lillie Batte and husband Howard of Mt. Olive; Shirley Edmondson and husband Carlton of Cleveland, Barbara Neely and husband Talley of Florence; brothers, Gary Jones and wife Patsy of Fairhope, Ala., Steve Jones and wife Charlene of Richland, Cliff Jones and wife Mary Ann of Magee; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Charlene's name to Catholic Charities of Jackson.
