488	Augustin Steinhart, 94, of Sigourney died Sun., March 1, 1998, at University Hospitals in Iowa City. He was born Aug. 21, 1903, in Engelweis, Germany, to Augustin and Antona Keller Steinhart. He married Velma Irene Kleinschmidt on Jan. 4, 1930, in Sigourney. He attended school in Germany and immigrated to the United States, arriving in Hayesville in the fall of 1924. He purchased a farm in 1957, near Delta, where he farmed until retiring and moving to Sigourney in 1984. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Farm Bureau and was a former leader of 4-H and FFA. They were the WMT farm family of the year in 1951, and were Honorary Chapter Farmers from Sigourney FFA. He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Nell Weber; four sons, Harold, Glen, Terry and Wilmer; 21 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Duane; a grandson; six brothers, Franz, Anton, Joseph, Johann, Fredrich and Hermann; and two sisters, Maria Eisele and Rosina Eisele. Services will be held Wed., March 4 at 11 a.m. at the United Methodist Church, in Sigourney, the Rev. Danny Lemons officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sigourney. 491	Austin Robert Boyd passed away at the age of 38 on the evening of Monday, September 28th. Austin was a loving husband, father, brother, and son. He was born in Brunswick, Maine, the first of four children. Throughout his life he lived in many places, from California, to Florida, Virginia, and ultimately, Birmingham, Alabama. Birmingham is where he put down his roots, met his wife, started a family, and made a home. Austin was an avid lover of sports and the outdoors. As a young man, he played baseball as a pitcher. Once he moved to the south, he quickly fell in love with Alabama football. He also developed a passion for hunting, deep sea fishing, and enjoyed snowboarding. He was fun-loving, hard-working, intelligent, and extremely generous. Austin loved to help others and give to those close to him. Austin was a great mind in Birmingham's finance community. His career took him to Merrill Lynch, Sterne Agee, and Allianz. It was with Allianz that Austin truly shined. He was widely known in the financial advisor community and was well-loved by the clients he served. Outside of the world of finance, Austin was an entrepreneur. He founded GoKickball, a large kickball organization in Birmingham. Through GoKickball he became widely known and loved in the community. GoKickball was responsible for roughly 60-70 marriages and a slew of toddlers spread around Birmingham. It's these relationships that are among the most enduring of his legacies. Austin loved people, and people loved Austin. Above all, Austin was an amazing family man. Austin and his wife Lee were married in April of 2012. They met - like so many others - in his kickball league. Their love and devotion for one another was an inspiration. There could be no doubt that Austin loved Lee. She was an Auburn fan and Austin even cheered for Auburn on occasion as a sign of support. Anyone who knew Austin would know that only true love could make him cheer for Auburn. In 2017, Austin and Lee had a son, Wells. Wells is a clone of Austin as a child. Boundless energy, constant smiles, and a warm affection. Wells meant everything to Austin. Even as a child, Austin would say he wanted a family and children. He made good on that wish and became a great father and uncle. Austin is survived by his wife and son, Lee Boyd and Wells Boyd; his mother and father, Cindy and Austin; his siblings, Andrew, Alex, and Alice. He was a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews; Saylor, Rylie, Emma, Annie, Jack, and Leon. He was both family and friend to his mother-in-law & father-in-law, Steve and Carol Dyar; and to his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Carrie, Christina, Matt and David.
