Draffin, confirmed by her daughter's TN death cert. (Margaret A. "Artie" Faulkner Cousar). Mary Draffin was born 23 Dec. 1798 in Lancaster Co., SC, and died 14 Jul 1856 in Tipton Co., TN. Buried in Salem ARP (Find-a-Grave). Other family trees suggest that she and Margaret H. Draffin are sisters (and which I believe). Margaret was married to Joseph B. Strain, who hung himself; both lived in Tipton Co., TN, and are buried in Salem ARP. Joseph and Margaret are the parents of Wm. Draffin Strain, whose second wife was Elizabeth Agnes Faulkner!
