My name is Josh Boyd and I am currently looking into my family history and came across your website, which is not only well-organized but quite an inspiration to find blindly on the internet. My great-grandfather four times over was Alexander Boyd, son of Robert Boyd and Mary Peoples, who came to the U.S. at the age of 17 in 1790 to live with his uncle William Boyd in Chester County, South Carolina. I have done some research into my great, great grandfather Reverend Robert Warren Boyd, who served the CSA in the South Carolina Infantry and later founded Barium Springs Orphanage in North Carolina, and am interested in gathering further material regarding my line. I also am quite curious to see if I could dig up records regarding Robert and William Boyd in County Antrim, Ireland.
