  Mabel Ann Elizabeth Shaw was born on 19 November 1883 to Lovick Pierce “L.P.” Shaw and Elizabeth A. Dickens, they were the owners of the Shaw Hotel in Lampasas. She married Edward Easter Clark Sr., on 30 July 1905 in Lampasas. They had 5 children 4 girls and one boy. Elizabeth Elaine Clark, Edward Easters Clark Jr., Mary D. Clark, Syble Virginia Clark, and Mona Francis Clark. She passed away on 03 April 1959 in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas, USA. She is preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter Mary D Clark, and three of her siblings William D. Shaw, Little Sam Shaw, and Seymoura E. (George) Thielepape. She is survived by her husband, and her brother Lovick Pierce Shaw Jr., and children Elizabeth Elaine (William) Bradford, Edward Easters (Mary) Clark, Syble Virginia (John) White, and Mona Frances (Lawrence) Thomas. She had 9 grandchildren, William, Elizabeth, Jack, James and Susan Bradford, Edward, Mary Ann and William “Dan” Clark, and Cynthia White. [3]
