- Edward E Clark, Sr.
Edward Easters Clark Sr., was born on 05 MAY 1882 in Lampasas, Lampasas County, Texas, USA to John Stewart and Susan O. (White) Clark who moved from White County Tennessee in the 1880’s. White County Tennessee was named for his wife’s family, and the newly formed Clark County Tennessee was named for his father’s family. Edward Easters Clark married Miss Mable Ann Elizabeth Shaw on 30 July 1905 in Lampasas County, who was the daughter of Lovick Pierce “L.P.” Shaw and Elizabeth A. Dickens, they owned the Shaw Hotel in Lampasas.
They had 5 children 4 girls and one boy. Elizabeth Elaine Clark, Edward Easters Clark Jr., Mary D. Clark, Syble Virginia Clark, and Mona Francis Clark.
He passed away on 15 January 1962 in Temple, Bell County, Texas, USA.
He is preceded in death by his lovely wife, his parents, one of his daughter Mary D. Clark, his siblings Adelphia Clark (John) Blankenship, Mary Clark, John D. Clark, Lillie C. (Ramah) Trawick, Charley Clark, and Little Infant Boy Clark.
He is survived by Elizabeth Elaine (William) Bradford, Edward Easters (Mary) Clark, Syble Virginia (John) White, and Mona Frances (Lawrence) Thomas. He is survived by 9 grandchildren, William, Elizabeth, Jack, James and Susan Bradford, Edward, Mary Ann and William “Dan” Clark, and Cynthia White. [1]
