ELISE THOMAS McQUISTON, 94, of Memphis, retired medical doctor, died of heart failure Thursday at Methodist Healthcare-Central. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Forest Hill Funeral Home East with burial in Munford Cemetery in Covington. She was a member of Providence Reform Presbyterian Church and was the first female internist at Methodist Hospital. Mrs. McQuiston, the widow of J. R. McQuiston, leaves a brother, James Houston Thomas of Fayetteville, Tenn.
