  Archtect for World's Fair. 005025 Lowrey - Mark Perrin Lowrey Iii, A Retired Architect, Died Tuesday Of A Heart attack At Touro Infirmary. He Was 70. Mr. Lowrey Was Born In Marks, Miss., And Lived In New Orleans For 50 Years. He Was A Graduate Of Tulane University And Received A Fulbright Fellowship To Study In France And Also Was Awarded The Fellow American Institute Of Architecture Award. He Was A Former President Of Vieux Carre Property Owners & Associates And The Crescent Council Civic Association. He Was Involved In The Effort To Halt The Building Of An Elevated Riverfront Expressway Through The French Quarter. Mr. Lowrey Was A Navy Veteran Of World War Ii.
