  Commercial Appeal, The (Memphis, TN) - April 15, 1992 Deceased Name: LYDE BEDDINGFIELD STRONG LYDE BEDDINGFIELD STRONG, of Memphis, formerly of Brighton, Tenn., retired Tipton County Schools teacher, died Tuesday in Memphis after a short illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Salem Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church near Brighton, where she was a member, with burial in the church cemetery. Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home of Covington, Tenn., has charge. Mrs. Strong, the widow of John Calvin Strong, leaves a grandson, John Calvin Strong III, of Brighton, and two great-grandchildren.
