  Commercial Appeal, The (Memphis, TN) - July 20, 2001 Deceased Name: ATOKA - Ulys Haynes ATOKA - Ulys Haynes, 94, retired maintenance supervisor for Tipton County Schools, died of heart failure Tuesday at Covington Manor Nursing Home. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Salem Cemetery. Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home in Covington has charge. He was a World War II veteran and a member of Salem Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. Mr. Haynes, the widower of Janie Grier McQuiston Haynes, leaves five sisters, Blanche Leonard of Lansdale, Pa., Lorene Meade of Rockwood, Ill., Ola M. Wilson of Watertown, N.Y., Betty Hamill of Memphis and Florene Cullen of Fort Myers, Fla., and three brothers, Arthur D. Haynes Jr. of Inlet, N.Y., Ronnie Haynes of Memphis and William J. Haynes of Bandera, Texas. The family requests that memorials be sent to Salem Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church.
