  Commercial Appeal, The (Memphis, TN) - November 28, 1993 Deceased Name: WILLIAM EDGAR MAYO WILLIAM EDGAR MAYO, 56, of Memphis, engineering consultant, died Friday at St. Francis Hospital after a short illness. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Memorial Park Funeral Home with graveside service at 3 p.m. at Salem Associate Reform Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Atoka. He was a member of Germantown Baptist Church and a graduate of the University of Arkansas and University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Mr. Mayo, the husband of Gale Mayo, also leaves a son, William Edgar 'Buddy' Mayo J r. of Germantown; a brother, John Marion Mayo of Olive Branch, Miss., and two grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Germantown Baptist Building Fund or the American Cancer Society.
