  Commercial Appeal, The (Memphis, TN, USA) - May 25, 2010 Deceased Name: WILLIAM REX CARRINGTON WILLIAM REX CARRINGTON, 83, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 22, 2010. William was a Korean War veteran, where he served as a Corporal and received the Purple Heart and Marksmanship Awards. He was a member and Deacon of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. He retired from William R. Moore College of Technology (instructor) and Memphis Police Department (school crossing guard). He is survived by his wife, Mary Evelyn; sons, Ken and Kelly; and grandchildren, Amanda Feldhege, and Andrew, Amber and Kevin Carrington. Services will be held at Bible Hill Baptist Church, Bible Hill, TN, USA on Wednesday, May 26, with Military graveside services and interment at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Wildersville, TN, USA. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to Old Paths Baptist Church, 10540 Collierville Rd., Collierville, TN, USA 38017, or donor's choice.
