- MARY BASS WOOTEN, 85, of Munford, Tenn., homemaker and former teacher, died of heart disease Saturday at her home. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Munford Presbyterian Church, where she was a church and Sunday school musician, with burial in Helen Crigger Cemetery. Munford Funeral Home has charge. She attended Middle Tennessee State Teachers College, taught at Munford Elementary School and was a charter member of the Mary Bryan Book Club. Mrs. Wooten, the wife of Robert M. Wooten, also leaves two daughters, Lynn Asinger of Wilton, Conn., and Millie Fuselier of Houston, Texas; a son, Mac Wooten of Munford, six grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
