  Commercial Appeal, The (Memphis, TN, USA) - May 16, 1999 Deceased Name: MUNFORD - Leonard Glidewell Jr. MUNFORD - Leonard Glidewell Jr., 71, of Lakeland, retired employee of P&C Oil Co., after 25 years, died of heart failure Friday at Methodist Hospital North in Memphis. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Munford Funeral Home with burial in Helen Crigger Cemetery. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a Navy veteran and a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Memphis Scottish Rite and Arlington Masonic Lodge. Mr. Glidewell, the husband of Joan Owen Glidewell, also leaves two sons, Tim Glidewell of Dyersburg and Paul Glidewell of Drummonds; three sisters, Wylodine Hathcock, Margaret Dixon and Mary Jo Quinley, all of Munford, and four grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Paul United Methodist Church in Memphis.
