  Washington Oneal McKeown was the son of Nancy Susannah Wilson and Hugh Seed McKeown, Sr. He was married to his cousin Esther James McKeown. They had nine children: Hugh James McKeown, Theodore Thompson McKeown, Addison Bingham McKeown, Mary Sue McKeown, Nancy A. E. McKeown, Martha Jane McKeown Boyd, Nancy Ann Elizabeth McKeown Simpson, Samuel Christopher McKeown and an infant daughter who was unnamed. The McKeown Family Cemetery is located one mile north of Cornwell, S. C. in McKeown, S. C. Take Highway 321 until you find Love Road. The cemetery is located on a dirt road off of Love Road.
