  Commercial Appeal, The (Memphis, TN, USA) - July 7, 1992 Deceased Name: HOUSTON ANDREW SIMONTON HOUSTON ANDREW SIMONTON, 80, of Memphis, retired farm manager at Tennessee Baptist Children's Home of Memphis after 23 years, died Sunday in Memphis. Services will be at noon today at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with burial in Memory Hill Gardens. He was a deacon at Bartlett Baptist Church. Mr. Simonton, the husband of Leta Simonton, also leaves two daughters, Beth Cole of Nashville and Janice Green of Jackson, Tenn.; two sisters, Mary Best of Ruston, La., and Frances Moore of Brighton, Tenn.; two brothers, Milton Simonton and J. W. Simonton, both of Brighton, and three grandchildren. The family requests any memorials be sent to the charity of the donor's choice.
