GUNETTA BLACK SMITH, 94, died August 29, 2005 at her home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, September 1, 2005 at Munford Funeral Home Munford Chapel with burial in Bethel Cemetery in Atoka. Mrs. Smith was a member of Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Home Demonstration Club. She taught Munford Elementary School in Tipton County for 30 years. She taught adult Sunday School for 35 years, a Sunday school superintendent and a member of the choir. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, A.T. Smith, one daughter, Carolyn S. Parrish of Bartlett; one son, Wayne L. Smith of Germantown; one sister, Melbajean Cash of Covington, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Rev. Wayne L. Smith Jr., officiating at the services. Visitation, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2005.

Gunetta Black Smith of Atoka died at her residence. Mrs. Smith, 94, was a member of the Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Home Demonstration Club. She taught at Munford Elementary School for 30 years. She was also a former Sunday school teacher for 35 years and the Sunday school superintendent and member of the choir.
Services were Sept. 1 at Munford Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne L. Smith Jr. officiating. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery in Atoka.
Survivors include her spouse of 72 years, A. T. Smith; a daughter, Carolyn S. Parrish of Bartlett; a son, Wayne L. Smith of Germantown; a sister, Melbajean Cash of Covington; five grandchildren and eight-great-grandchildren. [4]
