Services will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home with burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. She was a member of Covington First Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Simonton, the widow of Hugh T 'PaPa' Simonton, leaves a daughter, Mary Hunt Cook of Houston, Texas; four sons, Hugh T. 'Skipper' Simonton Jr., Claud Elmer Simonton and Peter Fyfe Simonton, all of Covington, and Robert Hunt Simonton of Memphis, 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to Covington First Presbyterian Church.
