- Charles H. Skelton passed on September 15, 2021, having been loved by his family and friends for all of his 82 years. He was born on January 25, 1939, in Pontotoc, MS, and his parents were Ethel and Velar Skelton. He moved to Memphis, TN, after graduating high school and serving three years in the US Army, where he met and married the former Annette Moore. He retired from Case/International Harvester, and then worked full-time at his favorite job, being a grandfather to his four wonderful grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-six years, Annette Skelton, and his parents, and is survived by his twin daughters, Trish Boyd (Bill Andersen) and Pam Skelton; and by his four grandchildren, Gregory Kimble (Taylor), Laura Kimble, Beth Boyd and Charles Boyd.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the charity of the donor's choice.
The family will be holding services privately at this time.
