  Eleanor was the second child of Robert Lester Patterson and Anna Ruth Middleton. After graduation from Trinity University, she married Rev. Alfred Malloy Dorsett, Sept 5, 1935 and shared in his ministry. They had two children, and she was a public school teacher in Houston, Electra, and Forney, Texas.
