- ames “Dub” Boyd, 90, of Amarillo died Sept. 3, 2014.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Pastor Josh Kouri officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40.
Dub will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include two sons; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

James Jarrell ‘Dub’ Boyd - age 90 - passed away Sept 3, 2014 in Amarillo. Dub was born in Eureka to Mack and Cora Boyd. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruby after 67 years of marriage, his sister Onata and brother Nolan. He is survived by son Steven, of Amarillo, son Richard and wife Linda of Amarillo, granddaughters Shawna and Breonna of Amarillo, grandchildren Rylie and Camden. Brothers Robert and wife Helen of Eureka, Walker of Comstock Texas, Wallis and wife Kathy of Bradenton Florida, cousin Walter Boyd of Waco along with many family members and friends. Dub moved to Amarillo soon after 1942 graduation from Mildred High School. He owned and operated a machine and parts business there. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. [3]
