  Commercial Appeal, The (Memphis, TN, USA) - May 17, 1997 Deceased Name: LOUISE C. WARD LOUISE C. WARD, 89, of Collierville, formerly of Elaine, Ark., Shelby County school teacher, died of respiratory failure Friday at Saint Francis Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Collierville United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with burial in Memorial Park. Collierville Funeral Home has charge. She was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at the University of Tennessee and the Contemporary Club. She was past treasurer of United Methodist Women and past president of Lelia Heuer Circle of Kings Daughters and Sons and Friends of the Collierville Library. She leaves a daughter, Carolyn W. Mason of Dallas; two sons, Hamilton Ward of Clermont, Fla., and Vance Ward of Hanover, Pa.; a sister, Elizabeth Kelsey of Collierville; a brother, Richard Carrington of Collierville, 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Friends of the Collierville Library.
