  Sun Herald (Biloxi, MS) - July 7, 2006 Deceased Name: Montine Lanier Lang Montine Lanier Lang, 95, of Gulfport, died Monday, July 3, 2006, in Gulfport. She was born in Pearl River County and was a longtime resident of the Gulf Coast. Mrs. Lang was a registered nurse and retired from Memorial Hospital at Gulfport in 1975. She was a member of Gateway United Methodist Church in Lyman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin B. Lang. She was the last surviving member of the 12 children in her family. She is survived by a son, Lanier Lang and his wife, Kay of Gulfport; two grandchildren and three step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and seven step great-grandchildren; and four step great-great-grandchildren. Her family extends special thanks to Lakeview Nursing Center and its doctors, nurses and other staff members. There will be a memorial service held on Saturday, July 22, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe O'Neal Road, Gulfport where friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until the service.
