  Billie Ruth Hill Lowrey, 77, passed away on May 19, 2018, at her home in Blue Mountain, Mississippi. She was born on October 27, 1940, to Eugene and Evelyn Johnston Hill in Cappleville, Tennessee. She was a homemaker and a member of the Macedonia Deentown Baptist Church in Blue Mountain, Mississippi. Billie was a wonderful daughter, wife and mother. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, May 21, 2018, at Blue Mountain Cemetery in Blue Mountain, Mississippi, with Mr. Mack Lowrey officiating. She is survived by her husband: L. M. "Catfish" Lowrey of Blue Mountain, MS; one son: Lawrence (Mack) Lowrey, Jr. and his wife, Rita ( her favorite daughter-in-law) of Blue Mountain, MS; one daughter: Rebecca Ruth "Becky" Hegan and her husband: Gerald of Ripley, MS; one sister: Johnnie Jean Shows of Anniston, AL; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother. Pallbearers will be Joey Manley, Jamie Miller, Chris Bennett, Bubba Lowrey, Courtney Pugh, Billy Wayne Joshlin.
