402	Alma Roberta Weil on August 18, 1920 at her home on “Little Texas” plantation near Napoleonville, Louisiana. She was the daughter of Moses Weil of Louisville, Kentucky, and Flora Elizabeth Lang of Hansboro, Mississippi. Alma was born in Jackson, Tennessee on July 7, 1894, and died on September 3, 1975. 403	Alpha E. Boyd Johnson March 26, 2009 10:12 pm — Alpha E. Boyd Johnson, 82, of Denver, Colo., passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2009, in Denver. She was born on Dec. 5, 1926, in Corsicana. She graduated from Mildred High School in 1944. She was a member of Cameron Baptist Church in Lawton, Okla. She and her husband Harold owned and operated Johnson Appliance Company in Lawton, Okla., for over 20 years after his retirement from the military. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Corley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at Corley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Ricker and the Rev. Donald Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Eureka Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnny Rob Boyd, Hayden Boyd, Michael White, Robert Coil, Greg Coil, Jason Baker and Tim Gregory. Honorary pallbearers will be W.T. Gregory and J.D. Wright. He was elected and ordained an elder in Hopewell, Chester District, S. C. In the fall of 1837, he removed to Tipton County, Tenn. where he continued to exercise his office in Salem and Bloomington congregations until the fall of 1865, when he broke up house keeping and came to Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, E.L. “Lo” McDaniel, parents, Kathryn and John Wassenmiller; brother, A.J. Wassenmiller; sisters, Ophelia Nobles and Ottilie Wassenmiller; daughter-in-law, Marylou McDaniel. She leaves her daughter, Anne McDaniel McCarver; son, Dale McDaniel (Diane); son-in-law, Tim McCarver; five granddaughters, Kathy McCarver Root, Kelly McCarver, Katie McDaniel Hughes (Ryan), Bebe McDaniel Wilder (Keith), Meg McDaniel Ford (Brian); 10 great-grandchildren, Beau and Leigh Root; Porter, Will and Duncan Blue Hughes; Emma Kate, Anna and Daniel Wilder; Maley and Buck Ford.   Alvana was always well-loved, even as a young lady when she was crowned Miss Shattuck in 1935. She married Lo in 1936 and moved to Rosemark where she was an active member of Richland ARP Church for over 80 years, a volunteer Pink Lady, church Circle hostess and dear friend to many. She was a devoted wife, avid cook, and beloved grandmother who was full of love, life and always had a listening ear.   The family will receive friends Friday (Sep 29) from 1:00pm until the service at 3:00pm at Richland ARP Church in Rosemark. Interment to follow in Rosemark Cemetery. She married Albert Lewis "Bud" Weber on June 30, 1949, at Clear Creek. He died March 1, 1998. She attended high school in Webster and was graduated from Sigourney High School in 1949. They lived on the farm where she was aseamstress and later worked at the Department of Human Services. She was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Sigourney. She was active in Farm Bureau and had received her 50-year pin for involvement in Keokuk County 4-H. Surviving are a daughter, Denise Hall; a son, Doug Weber; her mother, Velma Steinhart; three grandchildren; and four brothers, Harold, Glen, Terry and Wilmer Steinhart.
