Assembler, enjoyed time with grandchildren
PEABODY Mrs. Gloria (Tudal) Cormier, 83, of West Peabody, died Sunday, June 9, 2013 at Radius Health Care in Danvers. She was the beloved wife of Tilmon Cormier with whom she shared 64 years of marriage.
Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary Elizabeth (Saulnier) Tudal. She graduated from St. Jean’s High School Class of 1948. Gloria worked for Food Time Supermarket and as an Assembler for Bostik for several years before her retirement. She was a communicant of St. Adelaide’s Church in Peabody. Gloria enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and gardening.
In addition to her husband, Gloria is survived by grandchildren, Caroline Cormier, Connor Cormier, and Christina Cormier. Also survived by a daughter-in-law Rosalind Cormier of Norwalk, CT, nephew, Steven Tudal and wife Janet of Rowley as well as several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Paul A. Cormier, brothers Arnold Tudal, Rene Tudal, Yves Tudal, Frederick Tudal, sisters Marjorie Muise Lorraine Sigman and Francene Mills.
Service Information: Gloria’s Funeral will be held from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn on Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Adelaide’s Church, 708 Lowell Street, Peabody at 10 a.m. Burial to follow in St. Jean’s Cemetery, Lynn.
