Deceased Name: BRENDA McLAIN SANDLIN
63, of Germantown, passed away July 10, 2008 at Methodist North Hospital after a lengthy illness. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Kenneth Sandlin, she graduated from Germantown High School and was a homemaker. She loved Christ, her family, friends, pets and traveling. She is survived by daughter Michelle Smith, her husband Paul, and granddaughter AnnaBelle Alexis Smith, of Bartlett. She also leaves sisters, Susan Odeneal of Pinson, AL, USA, Linda Waller of Burlison, TN, USA, Joy Herrera of Collierville, TN, USA, Beverly McNeil of Pinson, AL, USA, Patty Anthony of Memphis, TN, USA; and brothers, Mike Toungette of Ashville, AL, USA, Larry Mclain of Ruskin, FL, USA, James Mclain of Byhalia, MS, USA, Lewis Mclain of Senatobia, MS, USA, and Chuck Vurmeister of Bartlett, TN, USA, and aunt, Naomi Smith of Raleigh, TN, USA, along with numerous nieces, nephews and precious friends. Visitation will be held Monday July 14, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home, with a Graveside service immediately following at 1 p.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to the Memphis Humane Society.
