She was preceded in death by her husband, R. E. Carrington, Jr. Survivors include her son, Bob Carrington (Bettye Kaye) of Byhalia; and daughter, Betty Carrington Vandiver (Bob) of Garland, TX, USA; four grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 12 from 5-8 p.m., and funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 13, both at Byhalia United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Byhalia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to Byhalia United Methodist Church.
