Deceased Name: HALLS - Oliver Joshua Nunn
HALLS - Oliver Joshua Nunn, 91, retired agriculture extension agent and banker, died June 9 at West Tennessee Skilled Nursing Center in Jackson. Services were Wednesday at Halls First Baptist Church, where he was a deacon, with burial in Halls Cemetery. Halls Funeral Home had charge. He was a charter member of Alamo Rotary Club and a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he was a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. Mr. Nunn, the husband of Alice Rosamond Warren Nunn for 65 years, also leaves a daughter, Blanche Hamilton of Germantown; two sons, Oliver Joshua Nunn Jr. of Johnson City and James Willis Nunn of Los Angeles; a sister, Ruth Hallman of Cleveland, Ohio, and five grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to Halls First Baptist Church Building Fund.
