Deceased Name: HALLS - David Revelle Nunn
HALLS - David Revelle Nunn, 89, retired banker after 60 years and former president of Bank of Halls for 30 years, farmer and cotton ginner, died of heart failure Friday at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Halls First Baptist Church, where he was a deacon, with burial in Halls Cemetery. Halls Funeral Home has charge. He was a World War II Army veteran, a trustee of Baptist Memorial Health Care, former president of Tennessee Bankers Association, president of Ardmore Telephone Co., director of United Telephone Co., and a member of the Rotary Club and American Legion. Mr. Nunn, the widower of Mildred Warren Nunn, leaves a son, Warren Nunn of Halls ; a sister, Ruth Hallman of Cleveland Heights, Ohio; a brother, Oliver Nunn of Halls , and two grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to Halls Baptist Church Building Fund or a charity of the donor's choice.
