  Commercial Appeal, The (Memphis, TN, USA) - November 26, 2001 Deceased Name: JOHN W. 'JACK' BOMAR JOHN W. 'JACK' BOMAR, 83, of Munford, Tenn., founding manager of the First Utility District, died of heart failure Saturday at Millington Health Care Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Munford Presbyterian Church, where he was an elder and Sunday school treasurer for 40 years, with burial in Helen Crigger Cemetery. Munford Funeral Home has charge. He was a 58-year member of Tipton Masonic Lodge and a former member of the Tipton County Beer Commission. Mr. Bomar, the widower of Agnes McCormick Bomar, leaves a daughter, Mary Margaret Wallace; a son, Jack Bomar, and a sister, Helen Bomar Nichols, all of Munford, and two grandchildren.
