She was born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA, USA and graduated from LSU with a Master of Science in Mathematics. Mrs. Dittoe was an original member of St. Ambrose Catholic Parish, involved with the school, Golden Youth and the St. Ambrose Choir. She loved to travel and play Bridge.Julia is preceded in death by her husband, James Andrew Dittoe, parents Mr. and Mrs. Roy L. Weil, Sr. and sister, Katherine Airhart.She is survived by sons, James Michael Dittoe and wife Sara, Stephen Dittoe and wife Ha; daughters, Diane Krawczynski and husband James, Julia A. Fulmer and husband Scott, all of Houston, Patricia Ray and husband Randy of Midland; grandchildren, Megan Dittoe, James "Kicker" Krawczynski, Sherry Krawczynski, Heidi Dittoe, Max Dittoe, all of Houston; Zachary Ray and Katie Ray of Midland, Tracie LaTray and husband Clinton of Wray, CO, USA; brother, Roy L. Weil, Jr. of Baton Rouge, LA, USA and numerous nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, June 3rd at the chapel of Pat H. Foley Funeral Home, the rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be officiated by Rev. Msgr. James B. Anderson at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 4th at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 4213 Mangum Road, Houston 77092. Rite of committal will follow at Woodlawn Garden of Memories Cemetery.Serving as pallbearers; James I. Krawczynski, Randy Ray, Scott E. Fulmer, James C. Krawczynski, Zachary Ray, and Clinton LaTray. Her sons Michael and Stephen will be serving as honorary pallbearers.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society for Melanoma research.
