JEAN LOWREY EEK, 67, of Vienna, Va., formerly of Memphis, died Monday at her home. Services were Thursday at Vienna Baptist Church, where she was a deacon, chairman of the diaconate, a Sunday school teacher and leader of the intercessary prayer group. Money & King Funeral Home of Vienna had charge. She was founder of Consciousness Frontiers, a New Age movement group. She was also a graduate of Blue Mountain (Miss.) College and Louisiana State University, and was former chairman of the speech department at Blue Mountain College. Mrs. Eek, the wife of Col. Lauris M. Eek Jr. (USA, ret.), also leaves two daughters, Donna Veeve Eek McMillen of Springfield, Va., and Jeanne L. Eek of Fairfax, Va.; a son, Lauris M. Eek III, of Fairfax City, Va.; her stepmother, Ernestine Lowrey of Baton Rouge, La.; a brother, Robert B. Lowrey of Biloxi, Miss., and two grandchildren.
